To drive as a Taxi Driver in Dallas requires a Livery Driver Permit from Dallas. The city can issue this permit to persons who have gone five years after being released or being convicted of: homocide,assault, kidnapping and a few others. I, for one, am pleased to know my driver has gone five years without killing anyone. Thank you Dallas for making it safe to take a Taxi.
