They say the truth shall set you free. Well in Ben Carson's case it will probably set him free from his run for president.
Both the looney left and blacks will be out for blood.
Ben Carson told Fox News’ Neil Cavuto Wednesday that Planned Parenthood was founded by Margaret Sanger to abort black babies and “control that population.”
CARSON: Maybe I am not objective when it comes to Planned Parenthood, but, you know, I know who Margaret Sanger is, and I know that she believed in eugenics, and one of the reasons you find most of their clinics in black neighborhoods is so that you can find a way to control that population. I think people should go back and read about Margaret Sanger who founded this place — a woman Hillary Clinton by the way says that she admires. Look and see what many people in Nazi Germany said about her. CAVUTO: That she was for targeting certain races? CARSON: That she was a great person.
Carson isn’t the first black man to argue that the true aim of Sanger’s organization was to control the black population.

We should be able to justify Dr. Carson's views on PP and Margaret Sanger in the same way we justify black rappers being able to use the N word.

I have no reason to disagree with him. But he will not be afforded the same protective force field black rappers get.

The German National Socialist movement was greatly influenced by Sanger and other Eugenicists.
It is a matter of fact, but not considered PC to mention the fact.

If Trump was bringing this up, it would not be a problem because he doesn't have to be PC.

I disagree to some extent. While he is out there on immigration, he seems to be dancing around race issues. I wonder if he recognizes that as the third rail.

Sanitizing history is wrong! Skipping over it is wrong. My father was a political man and everything was discussed at the dinner table. The good, the bad and the ugly and Margaret Sanger was UGLY. We were taught about Margaret Sanger and when I told my Dad (He'd told us before about Margaret Sanger) he said "I'm glad your history teacher had enough guts to teach you that." Yes, we had black kids in the class, so I know they knew it. The teacher didn't give his view of it, just taught it, but we'd had him 2 years and knew him well. We could feel the distain.

I haven't followed him closely but he was the candidate I was most interested in. Once he's gone I don't know who there is remaining to admire.

I'm curious, how do you feel about the fact that he engaged in research using tissue from a 12 week and 17 week fetus? It was useful research and broke no laws or ethical considerations. But, now, he seems to have changed his mind. What do you think of that? Seems very...expedient...to me.

And it may be expedient - or maybe his attitude has changed. I still think he's the most principled of the lot. But what do I know - I was a Clarence Thomas fan.
