I have always associated that word with some sort of shovel or digging implement. I believe my father used it to refer to a post hole digger but I think my grandmother used it for any narrow bladed shovel for garden work (not to be confused with a spade...long handled).

I thought it was spelled "bulldukey". It's what comes out of the back end of a bull. :D

Never heard of a shovel being called that.

A couple of friends of mine were helping me put in a cattle guard, and I asked them to hand me down the Bildukey; the friend from Brownwood handed it to me; the one from Kali said "What ?".
