I think he's right. I was reading Gary North saying about the same thing. If everybody rushes the shooter he can only shoot a few people. But, the key is training so that people can react instinctually what a threat is suspected. North recommended an intensive national "Lets Roll" campaign to get the word out. When someone detects a shooter he yells "Let's Roll" and everyone rushes the shooter at once, confusing him and knocking him off his feet.

makes sense to me except I hope that most people are seeing reality and are learning that if they want to survive a Roseburg kind of situation then they should take aggressive action . Training might be good for people , kids especially .

The potential stigma of being the loser who was disarmed by a gang of 7 year olds might have some preventive value of its own.

watching 'chris Matthews' and boy they are going after Ben . Yelling about Ben blaming the victims because they didn't rush the murderer . I don't know , seems to me that BEN just had a little bit of good advice . Better to rush the murderer rather than wait for a bullet to the head imo !!

I recall that at least one person (after 9/11) announced to other passengers on a plane that if there were terrorists on the plane, they should all rush him/them, because the terrorists couldn't take them all on. IIRC, he got in some trouble.
Liberals have to make sure there are victims to exploit. Can't have people who are self-reliant.

The first rule of rush club is you don't talk about rush club. Must maintain the thin veneer of civility.
I think air passengers these days are pretty aware of what's needed if the time comes.
