Obama will never accept because Cruz would rip away ANY perception that Obama is smart. Cruz would show Obama to be the intellectual lightweight that he is.

Obama has a good speaking voice but their are pieces of wood and rocks with more intelligence. Without a teleprompter he is a babbling idiot.

Obama has absolutely nothing to gain from debating anybody. The media would declare him the winner anyway, so what's the point?
