due to and electronic threat. This is HUGE...900 or more schools. It's 7:20 am there.

If this is a hoax, I hope the perp goes to prison for a very long time. There's no way he/she could ever paid the costs of this massive shutdown and searches of all schools. Over 900 schools!

And all the working parents that have to figure out what to do. Thankfully we have a stay at home Dad so this wouldn't be a big problem at our house.

Couldn't be a hoax, credible threat from overseas that threatened many, many of the schools.

L.A. schools get threats all the time..whatever this was, it was very different.

and its just great to have 2 working parents so that there is no parent to send the little tykes home to ehh ?? Much better 20 - 30 years ago as at that time there would usually be a parent , usually a Mom at home to receive the kids as the 640,000 widdle tykes evacuated the schools [ran for your lives] .

and parents 'required' to have 'ID' to pick up their kids from school . I'm not criticizing just a comment on how different things are nowadays .

They just announced that the threat came from Germany....make of that what you will..

No it didn't. All it did was to create a whole lot more of "them" and we're still creating "them" so it's going to continue to get worse.
You can tweet a bomb threat from anyplace in the world.

I'm not believing this. They shut down the entire LA system of 900 schools because of an email from Germany. Holy shit!
We should just contact Bagdaddy and tell him to come and take over whenever he's ready. We'll have the whitehouse all cleared out for him.

Criticize all you want. I have kids and it's a pain. And we DO have a parent at home. Not easy route to go financially, but someone is always home.
