In a surprise move, a Texas grand jury investigating Planned Parenthood wrapped up on Monday by issuing several indictments not to the women’s healthcare provider, but to two of the anti-abortion activists who had prompted the investigation.

The grand jury, convened by the Harris County district attorney’s office, indicted David Daleiden and Sandra Merritt for tampering with a governmental record, the DA’s office announced. Daleiden received a second indictment under a law prohibiting the purchase and sale of human organs.

Daleiden is the founder of the group, the Center for Medical Progress, that filmed and released a series of sting videos edited so they appeared to show Planned Parenthood employees selling fetal tissue in violation of federal law.

This is the Houston version of the Red Chinese practice of billing the political murder victims family for the cartridge they were killed with.

The baby killers can dance a little jig, for now.

Harris County District Attorney Devon Anderson, a Republican, said David Daleiden, the director of the Center for Medical Progress, faces a felony charge of tampering with a governmental record and a misdemeanor count related to buying human tissue.

Daleiden has admitted to putting together a fake company he dubbed Biomax Procurement Services. His group assumed aliases and claimed to provide fetal tissue to researchers.

By way of background, Daleiden’s team posed as biomedical employees and wore body cameras to secretly shoot video of Planned Parenthood clinics and employees. They recorded officials discussing the logistics of donating fetal tissue from abortions to researchers, who use human organs to develop new medications.

Daleiden claimed the footage proved Planned Parenthood was illegally selling fetal tissue for profit — a charge the organization has denied.

Wow. The link calls them activists. YOU, on the other hand, call them Fanatics. But, then, activist doesn't sound nearly as dramatic, does it?

I have no problem with people being "fanatics" about stopping the daily mass slaughter of unborn children. But it says a lot about the person who calls them that.

But that's NOT what the author wrote. You made a leap that perhaps the article didn't vback you up on. And, if someone just read YOUR headline and decided to skip the article that prompted it.. they wouldn't get the author's point at all, at all. Just yours. thats a lot of weight to carry on those shoulders.. :)

Steve's use of the word "fanatic" tells me that he is a pro-abortion whack job.

One problem a lot of "conservatives" have is they don't seem to be able to mind their own business. And they don't deal with ambiguity well at all. Unless it's black or white they don't get it. :D

No I didn't say that. I said "conservatives" don't mind their own business. And we're talking abortion policy. By the way I've been a registered Republican my whole life.

What you said EXACTLY was the Conservatives don't seem to mind their own business. And I find it ironic that you would say you didn't say that two posts later.
