It would help if they had a legitimate reason for obtaining the information. The people they claim were responsible are dead already.

over and above this one phone from SanBerdoo I hear that there are a couple hundred phones that law enforcement wants access to . ------- I don't know , heard that said last night as the Terrorists phone was being discussed .

The owner of the phone is the county that employed the dead terrorist. Shouldn't they be cooperating with the Feds?

I think the problem is that they have no evidence that they had anything to do with it. The shooters were 3 white men. They were patsies. So, they are desperately hoping there will be some kind of information that they can claim as "evidence".
