About every 18 months I purchase a jar of foot cream from Restoration Hardware.
That's all I have ever purchased there--nor expect to purchase at RH.
UPS just delivered a bundle from RH--about 5 catalogs--per the UPS label, 12 pounds worth...
I might look at the pictures before tossing them to recycle.
Insane..
OTOH, it keeps paper mfg., ink mfg and printers in business.

LL, I understand what you've got there. RH is a LOVELY store, where I could easily spend a King's ransom in less than an afternoon. That said, I think I ordered one thing from them years ago and they started sending me the catalogs. If you go to their website, there is a place where you can ask them not to send you anymore catalogs. I did.

Oh, gosh, wonder if the RH catalog is what is in the box I haven't brought in from the porch yet. I don't think I've ever even bought anything from them before except a couple of samples of their paint. I've been inside there store a couple of times but it's so dark and everything is so massive.....it is not appealing to me at all. Although their linens are lovely to touch.
I much prefer Pottery Barn or Crate & Barrel.
Thanks for the tip to "unsubscribe" to the catalog, Trixie...I'll do that. I know on the other board I read, they have had long threads complaining about the massive waste of those catalogs.

One of my insurance companies exasperates me by using heavy-stock paper for receipts and notices. The company's paper bill must be enormous. It could probably lower the premium a tad if it used flimsy stock.
