When the spammers hit a couple of weeks ago, I changed the registration procedure to include admin approval. I have no idea how they broke the Q A unless it was a real person answering the question, but the person that broke it must have sent the breaking code to lots of people.
So anyway the software gurus that wrote the code for the board tell me they will be adding better security questions to fix the issue.
In the meantime I have to refuse registration to 25 to 40 spammers a day. Oh what fun.
