The Sixties--series beginning tonight on CNN

Postby LibraryLady » Thu May 29, 2014 2:55 pm

The snippets I have seen in the promos looks good.
We are setting the recorder to get the series. It goes from tonight until August.
Should be a nice walk down memory lane.

It is offered at several times --8 PM plus middle of the night.

Thank you! I will check it out. I enjoy Anthony Bourdain's Travel Show on CNN. It's the only show I watch on CNN, to date.
Closing Time. Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end.

The great thing about the 60's was that everything that happened was accompanied by a Bob Dylan song. Same in the 70's and 80's and 90's.
Maybe we'll learn what really happened back then . How did they plant that false flag on the moon? It looked so real!
I don't think the end is near anymore. :D I think it's HERE! :o

This sounds interesting. Will be hard to capture the entire sixties scene. The responses will probably be as interesting as the show. So many lifestyle experiments going on - hippies, preppies, commune dwellers, rednecks, biker gangs, draftees/military, Jesus freaks, druggies - grass/LSD; not to mention racial desegregation with bi-racial marriages, etc becoming more common.
Toto, we're not in Kansas anymore.
