Heck of a storm getting ready to hit. It has been pretty to watch as it approached. Now it is Dixon to get real wet and real loud.

We had a couple come through last night. One of the storms knocked a lot of leaves out of the trees, we'll probably find a few limbs after we walk around later.

I really should try to do a better job of checking what auto correct has done prior to hitting submit.

To answer your post, we had lots of thunder and rain on Sunday night/Monday morning. But I pretty much slept through it all.

Or the exhausted sleep of an accountant recovering from tax season.

Didn't hear a thing.... earplugs. :D

But the bright flashes of lightning got my attention. I just rolled over, away from window view.

NO more like exhausted from a day of projects around the house and trying to get the children to clean their rooms. It takes energy and effort to outlast them. I finally let them go to bed a little past midnight.

Ugh. Spring is over(going to play in the end of season tourney). We start/end early down here in the swamps.
Big guy already started High School(freshman) Summer Ball.
It never stops.

Little guy got one travel ball tourney left and shutting it down.

I didn't. I was still awake when it started, and it was so loud (and bright), there was no going to sleep until it calmed down, about 3am.

I heard the forecast of 2-4 inches yesterday, but I didn't expect it to all come at once. We have a patio under cover that's about 4 inches above the rest of the patio. It did breach the 4 inches, but no harm done. Yesterday, "our" pair of ducks, who come every year must have stayed the night, since they're out there this morning, too. Steve said he saw them waddling across the front yard when he went to Home Depot. But they waddled to the back yard and the underground spring. It's not underground now and they are happy ducks. OK, we can't be sure they are the same ducks because, while we know there's a male and a female mallards, who can tell if it's the same ones.....
