no argument over Geography from me but no proper Englishman would ever call himself a Euro 'peon' , emphasis on 'peon' , imo !! Posted the article simply because the millennials don't like the vote and I am happy to see their unhappiness .

-------------------------------- and , I didn't think of it but of course RedOak has the correct answer . My answer is more political or is just my general dislike of Euro'peons' .

Well yeah..Europe is a continent, and the U.K. is part of it.

They are Europeans, always have been..going back centuries before this goofy EU bit.

I like Red Oak..he's a good guy..but is there anyone else here that is not clear that England is part of Europe and always has been?

England did not vote to leave Europe.

They voted to leave a goofy amalgamation that was formed about 25 years ago that tried to make a whole bunch of very different countries...one.

It was a dumb idea.

as already said , England is an island separate from the continent of 'europe' . European is the proper spelling of European I think . I just misspell it to highlight the 'peon' part that I think euro'peons' are . Its just a slight insult when a person knows the meaning of 'peon' Greg . .

You can misspell it anyway you want.

Check the maps..all of the U.K is part of Europe.

------------------------------------ think that they voted to leave the 'european union' which was run by tinpot dictators outa 'brussels belgium' . Think it was initially formed in the 50s after ww2 , goal was to avoid future wars I think .

Ok, you're starting to get it.

They voted to leave the EU.

They're still part of Europe, just like they were before there WAS an EU.

Yes, it was the "Eurozone" that formed 20 or 25 years ago..they are a separate thing from the EU.

--------------------------------------- I just gave you my reasons for me personally misspelling 'euro'peon' and as already said , England is no part of the europeon continent as it is an 'island' Greg :D .
