USA now playing Germany
Germany is nearly always one of the top 5 or 6 teams..so this game will tell the tale if our guys have any kind of shot.

If you are thinking there are an awful lot of black players, you're watching Portugal vs. Ghana.

No.
Will be glad when this is all over, and won't have to put up with soccer for four years...

It looks to me like both teams are playing to win, but they are doing it in a defensive-minded way.

Been a fan of Die Mannschaft since I was a kid. I was born in West Germany, and the USA was still many years away from qualifying. When I played in college, we would get together as a team and watch the Germans for inspiration.
Go USA!

Kinda looked like one of the German forwards was offside on that goal.

I was in a McD's earlier. Both TVs were on kickbal. Sound was down on both & both had Closed Captioning on in SPANISH. It's already borrrrrring enough.
I feel like I'm parked diagonally in a parallel universe.
