That could have contributed to Steve's problem with low blood sugar levels. We had strawberries for breakfast and again for desert after dinner. He also had blue berries with them. I can't eat blueberries (too many sulfites). But our doctor is thinking the Lipitor could have also lowered his blood sugar. He changed him to another drug and gave him a month's worth of the medication. When Steve took the Rx in to be filled, CVS called and said medicare rejected it. They want him to take a drug that has been suspect in cancer of the pancreatis. He's refused it. So, our doctor will write a letter, but I've asked Steve to just get the Rx filled and we'll pay for it till it's straightened out. Sometimes he's very stubborn.
