I will say this about him.....he did rehab himself and his many gold medals speak for him. And he didn't tear up a gas station and lie about it.

From what I have heard, there is lying going on on BOTH sides. According to what I read, only an advertising sign was torn down. That would not justify security pulling a gun on the guys. Lochte should have not gone to the media with his story though even if he had told the truth to begin with.

If Lochte had been home in bed with his girlfriend instead of out all night on a bro-date none of this would have happened.

I admire Michael Phelps. He screwed up, owned his mistake and got himself straightened out. I hope he continues on a productive path.

I agree he had no business out all night in sketchy areas of Brazil. Wonder how prevalent that was with the athletes?

BTW, he is probably going to end up on Dancing with the Stars.
