I thought he was alright. I've seen people bitch about him being biased both ways. I don't think he held either of their feet to the fire enough.
Two examples:
He shouldn't have let Clinton off the hook with only a sentence and a half about the emails.
He shouldn't have let Trump off the hook about not paying people when he took all of his bankruptcies by simple saying it was legal.

I would agree.
Seems that "they" can't decide on the role of the moderator.
Should moderator fact check? Should he call out a candidate on saying something the world knows is not true?
Should moderator stop the candidate who keeps butting in on the other person's time to speak (I think yes on this one).
I think that IS a role of a moderator.

I'm sorely upset that you and Flag Boy had a hard time grasping what was going on in the (NON) debate. Honestly, I think Holt tried ---but one shinning example was when Lester repeatedly asked DDT how he would bring jobs back to the US. Trump didn't just refuse to answer: he ignored the question entirely. And he wants the support of working people!

No it's because any and all moderators are going to be extremely biased towards Clinton.
..and they all seek to make the debate about "them."..they even think now they're the harbingers of all truth and knowledge.
..and because they now join in and debate the Republican more fiercely than the Democrat does.

points. Most notably: how do you plan to get businesses to bring their works back
to the US ... absolutely NOTHING to that.
It might have been OK if he had given some indication of what he had in mind (there

He also allowed Trump to get away with saying (in regards to the accusation that he paid no fucking income tax) "I'm smart".
He also allowed Trump to get away with not elaborating on the fact that he STIFFED a boatload of hardworking Americans when his companies took SIX bankruptcies by simply saying it was 'legal'. Being legal doesn't replace the food he took off the tables of the families he stiffed.

Rusty - Corperations can head quarter in many Countries, the U.S. Having the highest Corperate Tax Rate in the developed world motivates more to leave than our wage rate, in my opinion. That and over Regulation.
