He could have really made a statement by adding to his sign:

Thought it interesting and pertinent. Islam is anti gay ( at least thats my understanding ) and this man isn't scared to tell them You Belong.

He's a man of conviction who wouldn't be welcomed in some houses or religions.

A: I didn't "single him out". I posted a story and stated that he was a real Texan. That doesn't preclude anyone else from being a real Texan. But he IS a great example. Gay or not. You may not realize this but there have been gay people in Texas ever since there's been a Texas. Probably even a couple at the Alamo.
