Trump and SNL

Trump is really concerned about Baldwin's parody of him on SNL. Seems like he'd have more to be concerned about than getting his panties in a wad over what happens on a comedy/satire show. The guy seems to be 70 going on 3.

Baldwin's take on him is funny as long as you're not Trump or a Trump groupie. Bush the Elder LOVED Dana Carvey's parody of him. I guses Trump is just really insecure. Probably not a good trait for POTUS.

I have never been a Baldwin fan, but he nails the voice and mannerisms.

I agree that Mr. Trump is insecure. Remember, he has really big hands. :)

I have no problem with Baldwin's Trump. It's the best thing on SNL these days.

Trump says SNL is unwatchable. How does he know?

Sounds like Trump has gotten YOUR panties in a wad, which probably means he's angered MOST on the left for attacking one of their stupid shows..so..good job Trump!

Well, after reading this thread, I decided to pull up the skit and watch it. It could have been funny, but it was mostly lame.

Once again, that show stopped being funny or relevant about 20-25 years ago.

Most of the skits are just stupid.

I haven't seen this past SNL yet, and this sketch might have been lame. But Baldwin's been doing the Trump thing for quite a while now and they've been pretty good.

They go off on all the candidates. Not just Republicans, and certainly not just Trump.
I thought Larry David doing Sanders was hilarious.

Baldwin says he will stop doing Trump if Trump will release his tax returns.

I'm more interested in Baldwin's Trump send up than I am in Trump's tax returns.

Sketch comedy is uneven by nature. You just think up something and throw it at the wall and see of it sticks. It is good at spoofing politics. It was probably better in the early years because SNL had better talent then.

Well there you go.

It's not about comedy..it's about a political agenda.

Give 'em hell Trump!

Better talent, better writers, better mission.

Should should have said, "I'll release my returns when Obama releases his transcripts." BTW... let's see Baldwin's tax returns. Sure wouldn't want to see any deductions on there!

SNL has been about 50% funny and 50% not that funny since it started. Nothing new now.

I didn't realize Baldwin was running for President.

Nothing that says Presidential candidates OR comedians have to release their taxes.

I bet more people would prefer to see Baldwin's.

For the liberals that are still not getting it.

Expect everything to change.

Oh, I get it . I know a lot of things will change. For the worse.
The first target seems to me the 1st Amendment is the first thing Trump would like to change. And I'm not talking about his feelings for SNL or Baldwin.
