Could we get a break, please?

Tough couple of weeks, Donna's wreck, then had to have one of the cats put down.

Then last night Donna was reviewing what has transpired and said, well you know bad stuff comes in three's, whats next?

She called it, sometime overnight a pipe burst under the kitchen.

Since we're on pier and beam and you can't get to the kitchen from under the house, we ripped up the floor this morning, found the broken pipe, went to the plumbing store, and fixed the pipe. I'll put the floor back together tomorrow.

On the plus side the insurance company called today and offered within 150 bucks of what I thought her car was worth. If we had chosen their offer of a rental until the settlement was offered, they would have exceed the value of the Jeep.

Plus she likes the new van.
