free virus scan ?

is there a good free virus scan out there ? I think husband has a virus that his Avast didn't catch ? is there a free scan that might catch it ?

I do Panda scan once in a while..not sure if it actually does anything.

I always figure that doing a virus scan is when you'll pick up a virus.

Another one try is Malwarebytes. Sometimes you have to run more than one to get the culprit.
