Postby LibraryLady2 » Thu Aug 09, 2018 6:03 pm

Anyone get any?
Husband is so angry--not a drop here. He put off watering 'cause of the big rain promised.

Too bad we can't bring home the rain that rained on us all day through East Texas and Arkansas.

Enough rain to leave a shadow under some chairs last night.

Nice light show to the west and north and east right now.

N. Carrollton.

Enough rain this morning just to mess everything up. Not enough to do much good.

We got more rain all weekend. Fun when you get caught out doing your grocery shopping.

We have received a little over 4.5 inches. Our pastures really needed it.

About 2" overnight, and 1.25" later today, on top of about an inch less than a week ago, and likely more to come. We needed it all and more, as we were in a drought here.

We have been getting rain every day. Need to get a rain guage to measure from now on. I'm glad we are getting a break from it so we can dry out a bit. Hate letting the dogs out in our soggy back yard. But I know we needed the rain we got.
