We were in Walmart the other night. I had my list and a new hummingbird feeder was on it. They had just one on the shelf and it was $18. It was very pretty, but I've found the less elaborate, plain ole plastic attracted the birds. Well, I asked the clerk and she started removing huge boxes near the floor. Since English was a second language, I wasn't sure she knew what I wanted. That little lady nearly disappeared under there! She came out with a box with 2 containers of liquid hummingbird syrup and the very feeder I wanted. She said "It was $15 but now it's $5." After thanking her, I took it and ran. Surprise, surprise at the register it did ring up at $5. I was impressed since it wasn't marked down anywhere.

I was in the fenced in part of the garden center at a Walmart about a year ago. There was a girl laying down on one of the outdoor swings just snoozing away.
