What would you do?

Postby Sangersteve » Tue Apr 28, 2020 7:22 pm

I have a customer in Kennedale.

They have two machines down, of four.

They are at risk of losing their business if at least one of those can't be brought back to life.

They make an essiental part for the .gov

Do you go fix it or hide in the house?

You know what I will do

I'm asking what you would do.

I work for a large corporation. They've got this long, drawn out process for dealing with customers right now. There are all of these questions you're supposed to ask before going onsite about cases of the virus at the location, etc...

And the bottom line is that we go take care of the customer and take their money in practically every instance.

Corporations love to give lip service to any number of things, but in the end, the dollar reigns supreme.

ETA: I had to go to a free clinic today that couldn't answer any of the questions satisfactorily. The bottom line is go make the money, and everything else is just noise.

Wanna grab a coffee when you are over this way, Steve?

Wear a mask, gloves, wipes, sanitizer and ask the customer and staff to stay out of the way.

I've reached the place in this game that I just point and talk.

They have to be able to follow directions.

I would take care of business while avoiding contact with people .
Just like going to buy groceries or beer or charcoal in our current situation.

I wouldn't go if it involved a plane trip, not sure if I would stay in a hotel.
It's ok if you disagree with me.
I can't force you to be right.
