I watched the replay of Game 6. Still hard to watch, but it was a reminder of who some of the participants were and how many things happened before the ninth inning that influenced the outcome of the game.

The owners and players are now countering each other with one ridiculous offer after another.

To hell with all of them.

(Meanwhile, other sports are just getting it done.)

Watching a game in an empty stadium with piped in crowd noise will take a little getting used to.

We're a little over 59 hours away from games that count.

Masks are required in the dugout but are optional on the field. Chirinos is wearing a mask under his catcher's mask.

Kluber out four weeks with a shoulder tear. About to not make any difference.

Battling the Angels for the cellar in the AL West. By the time they right the ship the season will be over.

Rangers sweep the Angels. But that may not be saying much. Angels looked pretty inept.

The Mariners have designated Dan Vogelbach for assignment...

Since the Rangers don't even have a true first baseman on their roster, I think they should take a flyer on this guy, and see if they can fix his bat. He hasn't hit a lick this season, but he did hit 30 homers last year. If you could get him to hit .230 and keep those 30 homers, he'd be better than nearly every other hitter the Rangers have.

Dietrich can't play first base. Guzman was better than him.

Do you see? My point with football is already being made with baseball. In just 2 or 3 months we've gone from "who cares about those unpatriotic bastards in professional sports" to "talkin' baseball".

Mike Minor dealt to Oakland. Why are they trading in division?

It's an expiring contract, and the Rangers are going nowhere this season, so there will be no consequence.

Are they still playing baseball? I thought they all decided to join Black Lives Matter and get reparations by looting mom and pop stores.

I'm not sure you can call what the Rangers are doing baseball.

That sound you hear is the sound of heads scratching at the lack of activity at the trade deadline.

How many times in baseball history has a starting pitcher walked the first three batters, given up a grand slam to the fourth, and then left the game before registering an out?
