Grasshopper

This one was eating our hibiscus today.
I don't think I've ever seen one this big.

We haven't had many grass hoppers this year and the 4 I've seen, I was able to stomp on. We don't use any chemicals because I want the lizards hale and hearty. But those 4 weren't very quick. I've wondered what was wrong with them, because I'm not very quick or agile.

We have many, many hoppers this year. Our yorkies and the egrets kill and eat them all day.
