Is Anyone Else a Star Trek TOS Fan?

Postby FlashM » Tue Sep 23, 2014 8:31 pm

This is sort of fun: Some fans, theater people and actors got together and made some more STTOS episodes for the web (webisodes, of course). I've just watched the first one.

Some aspects are pretty good- they got the music right and sets and costumes are almost right. The casting falls short. I don't like their Spock at all. He doesn't cut it in the voice or looks department. The acting is passable, but I know it's mostly a labor of love. The writing, along with the dialog, is quite good, especially if you're a fan of the campy Original Series.

There are currently only three episodes. It's called "Star Trek Continues."

Here's the link: http://www.startrekcontinues.com/episodes/#.VCG86vldUcg

I hope y'all enjoy them. ;)

The second one, I'm watching now, guest stars Lou Ferrigno.

He looks good. He's painted green, (an Orion) but he should be quite used to that, huh?

I watched the first one. Better than I expected.
I feel like I'm parked diagonally in a parallel universe.
