Does the NFL have a moral turpitude clause that covers either owners or GM' s?

sucks, doesn't it. The same has happened to the Cowboys and every other NFL team... a lot. Call gets made, then the league says maybe it was wrong. Still doesn't change the outcome. YEs, the Cowboys and others have had the exact thing called against them - Ware, Spencer, Selvie, The go in with their hands up to block the pass or make it harder to throw and then hit the helmet or "head area" - flag.

you mean like the blown leg whip/tripping call that caused Murray to start going down and then fumble? He would have picked up a lot more yardage OR scored. At minimum, it would have been Cowboys ball and no Rams scoring drive. I'm sure that blown call was pointed out in the crew's review as well.

Yep, just checked the standings. Cowboys 2-1, Rams 1-2. Nothing changed.

I'll be the first to admit that this team looks much better than the 6-10 I predicted before the season started.

All of the "experts" said that this team has inferior talent, so the credit goes to the coaches.

And yes, JJ hired the coaches.

I'm pleasantly surprised at their good start, and the defense is even more surprising. It's almost fun to watch them play. Like you say though, it's a long season; I'll stick with my 8-8 for now - been a long time since the Cowboys have failed to disappoint.

IT's hard to listen to local "experts" now because they are trying so hard for ratings. Since the FAN has the Cowboys and no one listens to that station, everyone else bags on them and it's all gloom and doom when it comes to the Cowboys. Even Jub-Jub has been pulled into it. JJ proved them wrong when he didn't pick JFF. They've always said he makes the sole decision and it's just not true. Dent still tried to lie about it.

The team is much better, the defense is a LOT better. McClain, Melton, Moore, Wilcox are all playing great. The problem will be this week - the injuries to Carter and Claiborne will test the depth and they don't have it at LB, hopefully they do at CB. As for the offense, this line is outstanding! Romo is looking really sharp and Williams is having a good season. They took it too easy with Romo in training camp and it showed against the 49ers. The NFC is wide open, but Seattle still holds an edge.
