Two things:
1. It's an English publication
2. It contains ads for bullshit products like tinnitus relief pills
Yeah, that is kind of like shooting the messenger but I think it fits.
My father was an alcoholic that quit drinking and then died of colon cancer at age 65.

Every year at my physical exam my doctor asks the same list of questions. When he gets to the question "do you consume alcohol" I enthusiastically say "Yes!" and he enthusiastically says "So do I!"

If drinking can kill you, but you don't know when, that's not much to motivate you. You'll just say to yourself, "OK, drinking may kill me, but just one more won't hurt." So, you keep having "just one more"!

My favorite George Burns line..
“40 years ago my doctor told me to quit smoking cigars.”
“..he’s dead now.”
Get over yourself Kia.

Great-grandfather on my mother's side drank like a fish every day. Died at 93. Grandfather on my father's side was an alcoholic for 60 years. Died at 89. Wife's dad was a tee-totaler. Died at 65. I drink one or two beers a week, but I might go a month or two without drinking anything.
