The intellectual dishonesty of Democrats
The intellectual dishonesty of Democrats
Radical Leftist Colin Allred is now running an TV ad about the "Ted Cruz abortion ban" in Texas...
The fact of the matter is that Ted Cruz has never been Texas governor, and he has never served in the Texas legislature. To my knowledge, the only job Ted Cruz has ever held for the state of Texas was that of solicitor general, and that was long before the abortion restrictions were passed into law by the state.
This blatantly dishonest ad by radical Leftist Colin Allred features a couple of ladies that are supposedly doctors complaining about the "Ted Cruz abortion ban." If they know anything at all about the Texas law, then they know Ted Cruz didn't have anything to do with it. These ladies in the ad claim to be "apolitical," but by using the words "Ted Cruz abortion ban," and by willingly being in a Colin Allred ad, they are being overtly political.
So...
Colin Allred is a serial liar.
Lady 1 in his ad is a serial liar.
Lady 2 in his ad is a serial liar.
Indeed, "All Leftists are serial liars."
And once again, Democrats are masters of taking advantage of stupid voters. Without stupid voters, there would be no modern day Democrat party.
Indeed, "All Democrat voters are stupid."

Most democrats would have nothing to say if they were forced to not use something dreamed up in a spin room.
It's a joke son,I say a joke

Do you not think that Ted Cruz has influence over Texas politics? He definitely has influence in National politics which has allowed the SCOTUS to send these decisions back to the states.

I just saw the ad again...
One of those lying bitches they have on there is saying Ted Cruz AUTHORED the Texas law restricting abortions.
That is complete bullshit.
ETA: If that blowhard Colin Allred is so concerned about the Texas abortion law, maybe he should be running for governor or the Texas House or the Texas Senate. You can't do anything about it from Washington.

Radical Leftist Colin Allred has ramped up the lies. Now, he is not only blaming Ted Cruz for the Texas state abortion restrictions, he is saying that he will somehow change those Texas state laws from Washington as a US Senator.
I'll say it again: Without stupid voters, there would be no Democrat party today.

Is your point that the Federal government should usurp as many states' rights as possible, forcing every state to be as insane as California? BTW: Colin Allred opposes Texas' parental notification law for minors seeking abortions.

Well, when you have as many goofballs running a state as we do maybe we do need to have the Feds take charge.
States rights? How about reproductive rights?
I missed where Allred opposes parental notification?
Can you provide a link?

All Red looks like a victim of fetal alcohol poisoning.
Not only is Cruz more intelligent than All Red, which is much of a hurdle; Tedster is much better looking !

He said that when he thought people were batshit crazy.

Cruz counter-attacked by noting, CORRECTLY, that Allred had opposed Texas's law requiring parental notification for minors seeking abortions. "He (Allred) has rejected Texas's law that gives parents the right to be notified and consent," Cruz said.

By "reproductive rights", I assume you mean the unbridled slaughter of babies, because that's the Democrat position. But Democrats are also lying about the GOP's stance on IVF.

That’s not what I mean, and that’s not the Democrat position.

Yes, and if there is anything more inaccurate and hypocritical than “reproductive rights,” it’s “women’s health care.”

Kamala Harris opposed an abortion ban at 20 weeks when she was a senator. Truth be told, it was Democrats' arrogant refusal to limit abortions that led to the overturning of Roe v Wade, which was bad law, according to Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
Casual observers of the Supreme Court who came to the Law School to hear Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg speak about Roe v. Wade likely expected a simple message from the longtime defender of reproductive and women’s rights: Roe was a good decision.
Those more acquainted with Ginsburg and her thoughtful, nuanced approach to difficult legal questions were not surprised, however, to hear her say just the opposite, that Roe was a faulty decision. For Ginsburg, the landmark 1973 Supreme Court decision that affirmed a woman’s right to an abortion was too far-reaching and too sweeping, and it gave anti-abortion rights activists a very tangible target to rally against in the four decades since.
Ginsburg and Professor Geoffrey Stone, a longtime scholar of reproductive rights and constitutional law, spoke for 90 minutes before a capacity crowd in the Law School auditorium on May 11 on “Roe v. Wade at 40.”
“My criticism of Roe is that it seemed to have stopped the momentum on the side of change,” Ginsburg said. She would’ve preferred that abortion rights be secured more gradually, in a process that included state legislatures and the courts, she added. Ginsburg also was troubled that the focus on Roe was on a right to privacy, rather than women’s rights.
“Roe isn’t really about the woman’s choice, is it?” Ginsburg said. “It’s about the doctor’s freedom to practice…it wasn’t woman-centered, it was physician-centered.”

So you think IVF is a good trade off for people like Kate who had to leave the state to have an abortion when her child would surely not survive outside the womb?
I’ve got two daughters and a daughter-in-law. Fortunately we’ve never been in a position to even consider abortion. But if one of my daughters had been in a situation where their child wouldn’t have survived, I would not want her to bear the burden of having to carry that child to term. Would you?

Well, of course, I never said anything like that. Yes, I believe that there can be some discussion about unviable fetuses. But I also know a woman whose otherwise healthy baby died when the umbilical cord wrapped around his neck. She bore the stillborn child and buried him. That was incredibly sad, but it would have been exponentially worse to have torn the little boy to pieces.
