Elon Musk on Tuesday tore into the massive tax-and-spending-cut bill backed by President Donald Trump, calling it a "disgusting abomination" that will explode federal budget deficits.

"I'm sorry, but I just can't stand it anymore," Musk wrote in a post on X, his social media site.

"This massive, outrageous, pork-filled Congressional spending bill is a disgusting abomination," the Tesla and SpaceX CEO added.

"Shame on those who voted for it: you know you did wrong. You know it," wrote Musk, who until last week led the Trump administration's DOGE effort to cut government spending and waste.

I didn't respond yesterday, because I didn't have the facts to have an informed opinion. I still don't know enough about the spending bill, but it does seem apparent to me that Musk is upset about losing the subsidies and EV mandates from the Green New Scam.

When it comes to politics I'm never 100% sure of anything but I'm pretty sure this is accurate.

Yes, of course we want less government spending, but Trump has to live in the real world of essentially a 50/50 House and a 53/47 Senate.

And he has to think about the economy, financial markets, all types of relationships around the world..all while those very close numbers of Congressional losers are only interested in their own re-election.

We all supported Trump when he decided to bring Musk in because we knew that is what our favorite President wanted.

I still look forward to some of the Doge cuts being implemented, and hopefully a longer term future Doge plan.

But right now Musk is acting like a spoiled child. He had the President’s ear like no one else, and chose to screw it all up.

What a dopey genius.

I don’t know about the Trump orbit, but I tried to get on X the other day and my account had been suspended for violating the rules. The funny thing is that I’ve never attempted to post anything on X, and probably posted on Twitter only once when I first set up the account a few years ago.
