Ralph..economies are dynamic. People invent things..or their businesses grow..or people do well and want more stuff..which makes businesses grow MORE.
That's a growing economy. If the labor force doesn't grow with it..that would bring on a labor shortage which means runaway inflation the likes of which our country has never seen.
As the economy grows..people are going back to work. When everyone is working that wants to..we need more people.
