I'm being serious. Give it some thought.

I believe this country is headed for a European style socialist society. We will be a second or third rate power - both militarily and economically - before you know it.
This didn't start with Obama but his policies have greatly accelerated the fall. There is nothing that can stop it. It has gone too far and has gone on for too long.
Republicans in office may slow down the process a little, but we are still headed for the same place.

Let's elect Democrats and get it over with. Let's hit bottom so we may be able to start rebuilding a free society.

A drunk never gets better until he has hit rock bottom. Maybe it's the same for a nation.

well , if real conservatives can't get a real conservative to vote for then why vote repub . That's my thinking anyway . Example would be 'j.bush' versus Hilary . They both want the same thing on the issues that matter to me except for maybe military which I think 'bush' would be better on . I vote the person not the party, so I'll be watching to see whom the parties trot out as their candidates, and the inevitable character assassinations, personal follies/faults/etc etc that will follow.


Stopping the financial hemorrhaging of this country is possible, though not pleasant for many.

What Bill is saying is what I've thought for 30 years. But, hitting bottom doesn't solve the problem. A lot of countries have thought they could run an empire. Every one collapse and not one ever reorganized and came back to amount to anything.

The best thing for our country was to have been ruled by a tyrant in 1776. It fomented rebellion and a love of liberty.

I was referring mainly to the Grecian empire. Same with the Romans, the Ottomans, and the British. They never came back.
