What about the other two of the "Big Three Bs", Bach and Beethoven?

They got broken up.

No chance of a reunion tour, I suppose.

When they get as big as BB, they become too big to fail and they start to ignore problems that could cost them a lot of money. Best thing would be for the company to be broken up and sold off to buyers who will operate it properly.

that is mighty soacialist/liberal of you to think that

I didn't say by the govt. I guess you assumed that. The free market can do the job very easily by refusing to buy their ice cream. Then it will likely be broken up and sold off to companies that can properly manage the business.

Do you only buy products from small to medium sized businesses?

I got 1 half gallon of B.B. left. it came from the Alabama plant.
It will all be good when they come back...
They'll have to come back stron with coupons and sales to get their shelf space back.
the holes in the freezer case are going to be filled with other brands. They will have to
"buy" the space back with extra special deals with the retail stores. And do not think for a
second the competition does not know this and will be offering deals to the retail stores to
keep their space and block BB. it will come down to the consumer making the choice.

With all of this going on, I do a marketing thing and change the packaging to a rectangular one
to more efficiently use the freezer space but keep the 1/2 gallon size.

the soap box, the ballot box, the jury box, and the cartridge box.

No logic, maybe, to it but when I see a square ice cream container I think cheap bad ice cream. The square containers my parents used to buy were the bad lower cost less cream ice cream. Sometimes it was "ice milk" - nasty. That has stuck in my mind.
