Hil's Israel First, Dual Citizenship Billionaire Sugar Daddy

Considerable attention has been devoted to the millions of dollars Bill and Hillary Clinton have received from wealthy individuals and corporations for their foundation and for themselves.

Like many other things they have done, the Clintons were skirting on the fringes of illegality. And given the fact that Hillary was not just an ex-government official, like many who have benefitted from their positions after they left the federal government, but someone who intended to return to the federal government in the very topmost spot, she and husband Bill were engaging in something quite unseemly. For it would not be beyond the realm of possibility that those who handed over tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars to the Clinton Foundation (some of which took place while Hillary was Secretary of State) or to the couple themselves for speaker fees expected favors in return.

Now all of this has been bandied about in the mainstream media, but what gets little attention is that Hillary Clinton’s greatest billionaire backer has been Haim Saban, a dual United States-Israel citizen and hardline supporter of Israel, who has openly commented, “I’m a one-issue guy, and my issue is Israel.”

With a net worth estimated at $3 billion, Saban is ranked by Forbes magazine as the 143rd richest person in the United States.

When asked last July how much he would give to Hillary Clinton’s campaign, he responded, “As much as is needed.”

Saban’s support for the Clintons goes back to Bill Clinton’s presidency when Saban and his wife slept in the Lincoln bedroom on a number of occasions, a privilege reserved for only the largest donors to the Democratic Party.

Saban, who never went to college, eventually hit it big in the early 1990s with children's TV show Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. He sold Fox Family Channel, a joint venture with News Corp., to Disney in 2001 for $5 billion; his take was $1.7 billion. Now he chairs Spanish language TV network Univision, which he and a group of private equity investors purchased for $13.7 billion in 2007. His Saban Brands owns and manages the Power Rangers brand as well as that of Paul Frank, known for its monkey, Julius.

He is as American as you will find.

To me..by definition..they are not.

It is possible, however..that dual citizenship people can be loyal Americans..and may be keeping dual citizenship to be able to travel back and forth freely.

Golly what unfair sweeping generalities, guys. One example that comes immediately to mind that disputes what you say is my dear niece. She is a naturalized citizen whose country of birth was France. She is currently a French teacher in a Round Rock school and is a wonderful woman who is proud of her homeland and proud to be an American. She has lived here and taught school for more than 16 years. She became an American citizen just last year because of potential travel limitations that could impact her family.

My uncle was born in Toronto while my grandparents were there on business, and has dual citizenship. He is a liberal Democrat.

personally I see a flaw in certain things like allowing the arriving immigrant the ability to vote . In my world a naturalized or first generation imported person just off the boat should not be allowed to vote , run or hold any elective office . I'd also keep them out of teaching at / in public schools .

FRANCE and Europe MAY be different , reason for that is that if a French woman from France legally emigrates to the USA its different than a guy , family that sneaks or legally emigrates across nearby borders . French or Europeon person is probably more invested in being an American because they are more likely to be educated and civilized in Western ways , traditions , laws plus Europe is a plane ride away rather a truck ride or road trip away from family and friends . ----- No French ghettos in the USA as far as I know and Europeons assimilate into the USA from what I have seen .
