The most evil "church" I know of.......

Postby millergrovesue » Sat Jul 18, 2015 4:55 pm

.....,Westboro Baptist, is planning to demonstrate at the funerals of the slain Marines. I briefly looked at their website. I have never seen a site more evil, hate filled, and unGodly as theirs. I wonder what in the world possess people that they would be attracted to the poison spewed by this "church". I also wonder if they are tax exempt.

One of their "sister sites" is GodHatesTheWorld.com offers reasons God's hatred country for country.

They claim that churches that preach God's love are wrong - "Even though the Arminian lies that 'God loves everyone' and 'Jesus died for everyone' are being taught from nearly every pulpit in this generation, this hasn't always been the case. If you are in a church that supposedly believes the Bible, and you are hearing these lies, then your church doesn't teach what the Bible teaches."

I'd say this "church" is possessed by the Devil. It makes porn sites look sweet and innocent by comparison.

My first question was if they believe God hates this country so much why don't they all leave. Then I read that God hates every country. Perhaps they need a space ship or a good pitcher of Kool Aid.

I don't doubt that somewhere in the ME some Mullah isn't pointing at Westboro as proof that Christianity is a religion of hate rather than the "Religion of Peace" it claims to be...much like we do with various Islamic groups.

I do believe that the Westboro folks would be every bit as bad ISIS ever imagined being were it not for our SECULAR law enforcement establishment. Imagine those people with their own "militia" like every congregation in Iraq sort of. Sort of scary really.

Wouldn't surprise me in the least.

They are scary when unarmed. Can't imagine that group insanity with weapons.

Really? You don't think these people are dangerous and evil? Heck anyone can post innocent looking pix. Certainly you aren't deceived by pictures when there is so much evil text on that site. Heck, just read their "about" page - or easier yet read their list of "sister sites". Sick sick twisted people there. If you don't want to take a shower after visiting your site you should.

Westboro is an interesting bunch.
The church has about 60 members and almost all of them are members of the Phelps family.

The old man, chief hate monger and founder- Fred Phelps- died last year.
Phelps had been excommunicated from the church a few months before he died, because he had started moderating his venom a little bit.
Phelps had been a big Kansas Democrat and had ran for office 7 times as a Democrat. He placed 3rd in a Senatorial primary in the 1980s.
Phelps also was presented with an award from the NAACP for his civil rights work.

don't care if they are evil as that's Gods judgement Sue . Purpose of posting pics was simply showing what these wierdos look like and they sure don't look dangerous . And then the comparison by some poster that 'Islamic state' and westboro Baptist are comparable is laughable . Heck , like it or not but 'westboro' is simply execising 'Free Speech' . ------------ off topic , but if you want to see EVIL see planned parenthood film of an abortionist doktor as she eats salad , drinks wine and talks about selling murdered babies body parts .

Really? Gee, I would have figured that God hates blacks too. He seems to hate everyone else, according to Westboro.

Unless something's changed, the membership is so small to be statiscalky zero compared to the country at large.

Now Obama's church in Chicago that he sat in for 20 years?..that's much worse..and much more harmful.

He targeted homosexuals. The dead soldier demonstrations were motivated by his belief that God hated this country because of its acceptance of homosexuals and the military helped prop up the country- or so he claimed.
I think he found that protesting those funerals brought him more attention than anything else he could do.

Guys like Sharpton , Jackson , ayers , j. wright and others . Then throw in the lefty 'la raza' 'mecha' buddies just for grins . ---------- But yep , the j.wright led chuch that mrobama and family sat down to for 20 years .

A group trying to get rid of the Westboro nuts are the "Freedom Riders", the group of motorcyclest who also show up at the funeral services of Vets and park their cycles in a position so the Westboro creeps cannot get close to the Vets service.

Westboro has been a pain in the rear for 20 plus years, time for them to go.

Lots of time they announce such a thing/visit, just to get attention....then they never show up.
IMO, they think they have "won" because everyone is all worked up about them--and they got attention.

Membership is really just one family. One daughter is an attorney and files cases for millions for denying them access to whatever is on the agenda. When they win, the money supports the evil ones for awhile.

Seven of the children are attorneys.
Old man Phelps was a disbarred attorney.
