And, in turn, HER mother's maiden name (i. e. her "Jewish" line) was Harrison. I was not able from a quick search to find any evidence advanced for Kate's Jewish ancestry other than that in England people with the surnames Goldsmith and Harrison are sometimes Jewish. The fact of five generations of Christian marriages does not seem to matter.
