Irritating Ads
Re: Irritating Ads
The Pei Wei radio commercial where they have the "pow" sound every time the man mentions Kung Pow chicken might be bottom 10. Or on the annoying scale, top 10.

The two Sonic idiots keep me away from Sonic.
The bikini girl and the talking horse are incredibly inane; their commercials would never make me use satellite television.
If my wife is in charge of the remote, the channel is changed when a commercial comes on.
With my daughter home, we watch a bunch of stuff via Netflix, no commercials at all...
Any commercial with talking animals is a no at my house. And no animals with people teeth either. Creepy, just creepy.

Agreed.... there's some car commercial with the small black dog and the helium voice. It's just awful.
Some coffee cups are just too small.

Re: Irritating Ads
millergrovesue" Oh I thought of another set of ads. ALL the Swiffer Sweeper ads most especially the one with the old couple - husband is Morty
I'll give the old couple a pass. They were on Good Morning America about six months ago in a one or two minute interview. They really are a married couple and they are both in their 80's. Good for them.

Re: Irritating Ads
The Men's Edge Medical ad in which the woman says "......I'm a customer." Uh, no you aren't your "boyfriend" is the customer. Complaining about sex after a "few months"? And "he has more personality now"? Sheeeeeeeeesssssssssshhhhhhhhhhhh.
Oh and the one in which the woman says "I wouldn't say we're rich....but we're comfortable". ".....I expect my bank to work as hard as I do.........." Honey, it's a bank. It's not their job to work to make you money and protect your investments. It's a B-A-N-K.

I still think the Sonic idiots steal the show.
Not only is it silly and obnoxious but they flood the channels with it.

Nothing makes me hit the remote faster than those guys.

I agree with you all, I hate it, but I fear its not going away. If it were not working, it would not still be there. (Unless the two guys are running the advertising agency also)
Re: Irritating Ads
Not sure I've ever seen a Sonic ad..there may be Sonics somewhere in Southern California..but I don't know of any.
If you’re “woke”..you’re a loser.

I already have my reasons for never stepping foot in a KFC, but the new Col. Sanders is just freaky...

Agreed. I'm not a KFC fan either. Give me Church's thank you.

I remember Colonel Sanders' chicken when it first started being sold.
There wasn't any stand alone KFC stores. It was sold in existing restaurants that paid a fee to have a Sanders sign in the window.
The chicken was really good and different than it is now. It had a faint liquorish taste in the background. I was talking to a friend the other day about it and he agreed.
