CrocMommy, Galveston advise

Karen, Jen and the boys are headed down there in the morning. Based on your recent trip do you have any suggestions?

Dont expect white sandy beaches, but you will have a great time anyway, or at least I always did.

First, don't stay in a condo with 12 other people!

We ate at Tortugas and Stingaree (Crystal Beach)

Riding the ferry is fun.

What part of Galveston are they staying at? Hotel, motel or condo? I would prefer to stay closer to town next time.

Also, the Pleasure Pier can get expensive so we didn't go.

Condo owned by her s-i-l. Close to the beach. The boys love the water. I know they will definitely do the ferry. Thanks for the restaurant suggestions.
