I'm not so sure I'm buying the story that the black box just "fell off" the truck. And someone's in big trouble at animal services....
IRVING — Irving police put out a reverse 911 call to residents of Irving's east side Monday to warn residents about a potential danger.
A metal box fell off the back of a city Animal Control truck Monday afternoon. Inside that box were three very potent injectible drugs: Ketamine/Xylazine and sodium pentobarbital. Police tell News 8 they are primarily used as sedatives, and that one of them is a euthanasia drug.
"At this point, it appears it's fallen off the truck, and somebody has stopped and picked it up," said police spokesman Officer James McLellan. "It's very concerning. It could be fatal. Any of these drugs that might be ingested improperly or abused could be fatal."

I agree, Croc. Story stinks big time. Seems to me that "box" would have been majorly secured if it contained such dangerous items.
Working to love my fellow person regardless : >

Seems farfetched doesn't it.

Stolen? If not and it was lost, someone should lose their job (and their head!).

I never question the depths of incompetence of any level of government employees.
