skunk, big skunk
skunk, big skunk
I got a big surprise this morning. Was heading to town to work out at the gym. I was carrying a cup of coffee, water bottle, kindle and pipes & tobacco. It was a big surprise to walk around the front of my truck and see a skunk standing by my door with his tail up in the air. Discretion, valor, etc. I got in Karen's Explorer.

I've had similar happen. Yep, it's always wise to respect a skunk.

The dogs and I just came out to the porch for our morning gathering. The middle Yorkie was getting ready to take a drink of water and then jumped back and started growling. My immediate thought was snake. Luckily it was just a toad.

Morning?? 3.30 am still sounds like middle of the night to me. It's dark outside then.

Nah, 3:30 is the second morning. It's preceeded by the 2 a.m. morning and followed by the 5 a.m. morning then the 6 a.m. morning.

It is usually @ 4:30 for me, but when I woke up at 3:00 I knew no more sleep was going to happen.

Yes. One of the other advantages of being out away from city lights is being able to see stars, billions and billions.
