A naval career. What is yours? How much of what you read do you actually understand? I find that real experience brings a new appreciation to military history and commentary. Divorcing it from political partisanship can have a similar effect. And, there is a world of difference between reading a lot and being a serious student of a specialized subject. How about a bibliography from you if you claim so much expertise? What was the last military history or military science source that you read? Read any military related publications regularly (like in subscribe)?

In the area of military history and science I am a specialist and you are a generalist. And like most generalists, it seems you fail to understand and appreciate most of what you "know" about specialized areas of study. I don't doubt you mean well...you are just wrong about everything related to this incident.

I still don't understand why you want to smear the US military. What happened to all the support for the troops?

A naval career.
That's it? You don't seem very proud of it. What did you actually do? How long? What did it teach you?

Interesting. You have completely escaped talking about the hospital bombing and are now conducting a typical ad hominem attack. I am not interested in playing. Nor, do I feel any need to detail my career. In fact, I decided when RO threatened me that I didn't want to share any more personal info than I could help. You will note that I cleared all profile information. Besides, you are just attempting to bait me now.

Perhaps if you respond to my questions regarding YOUR reasoning and claim to the expertise to make the allegations you have I might be more forth coming. But, I will say that anyone that spent 24 years in the military knows more about this topic than anyone that hasn't served at all. That would be you, I'm guessing.

Well, you would be guessing wrong. I was in the DOD 33 years total, active duty and civilian.
If your going to argue by intimidation then be prepared to back it up. If you can't then I'm going to call you on it. Stick to the facts. I already had you figured for a swabie. And I know that your a left wing military idolater. And that's all I really need to know.

Why would you find that an attempt to intimidate you. I asked if you had some qualification I was unaware of that would give you special insight. I'm going to guess this response is a NO.

As for "showing" you mine...I have been studying military history since I started to read. I was raised by the people that fought and won the Second World War. I pumped them at every opportunity. I have a significant degree of actual military experience. Since leaving active duty I have continued to follow professional military journals and read military history from a variety of sources. Do you need a bibliography?

So, there is mine. Now, you show me yours. And could you explain why you decided to go all "tough guy"? You don't do it very well and there was no call for it. I am totally unintimidated by anyone here. Certainly, no one here has demonstrated the slightest expertise in this area...beyond repeating standard Conservative talking points that they don't understand and can't defend.

So, you have any reasoning to present or are we through here?

Why do you ask me? Why don't you ask the military expert?

The some versions of the AC-130 do carry a winged "smart bomb"; perhaps that is the reason for the confused terminology. :?:

And anyone who thinks CD is anything other than a trouble making troll is as crazy as he/she is.

My point is if your going to claim to be an expert on something, be prepared to explain what makes you an expert. If your not willing to do that then don't try to use that as an argument. Nobody is going to believe you on that basis anyway. Examples: I'm smarter than you are. I went to college and you didn't. I have more experience than you do. That's as juvenile as a couple of kids arguing "mine is longer that yours is".
