It's the nature of the two types of Net sites. Facebook lends itself to being chatty while discussion boards encourage a broader range of communication.

I only Facebook to keep up with grandkids.

That was my reason for starting this. I do wish we could have a few old friends pop in, and of all the people I invited several joined and have never posted.
