Israeli army says three kidnapped teenagers found dead
By Ruth Eglash and William Branigin
The Washington Post
JERUSALEM — The Israeli army confirmed Monday evening that search teams found the bodies of three kidnapped Israeli teenagers, and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed that the Islamist militant group Hamas, which it accuses of the abductions, would pay a heavy price.
Speaking at the start of a meeting of his security cabinet following the grisly discovery, Netanyahu said, “Hamas is responsible, and Hamas will pay.” He said the three “were kidnapped and murdered in cold blood by wild beasts.” The teenagers were abducted June 12 as they made their way home from their religious school in the Israeli-occupied West Bank. The security cabinet concluded its meeting without making a clear declaration and plans to meet again Tuesday.
In the weeks since the abductions, the Israeli military has conducted one of the largest and most aggressive sweeps in the West Bank in a decade. The fallout has included house searches, raids, arrests and even deaths, igniting new frictions between Israelis and Palestinians, who just three months ago were in the midst of U.S-brokered peace negotiations.
Netanyahu has said that Hamas, the militant Islamist group that rules the Gaza Strip, is directly responsible for the kidnappings and killings. But Netanyahu also criticizes Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas’s recent move to form a transitional Palenstinian unity government backed by Hamas. Israel and the United States consider Hamas a terrorist organization.

Re: Israeli army says three kidnapped teenagers found dead
According to independent investigative journalists in Israel, this appears to be a Bebe false flag job. Hamas is a political organization. If it kills somebody it does so to make a political point. It brags about it. Hamas denies any involvement. And Israel always displays proof that it was Hamas. But, Israel has not shown any evidence. It appears these 3 were dead before the "kidnapping". It may have been staged to provide an excuse for a coming major attack on the Palestinians.

Besides myself, there's probably 3 or 4 OTHER people that, after reading Bob's article, intended to leave two words.."false flag."
I see it's been done.

..false flag or not..can you think of a better way for Israel to spend it's time and resources?

Establishing a Jewish State in the middle of Arab lands was maybe the dumbest idea in history. Even
the US Congress wasn't that stupid. Blame it on Truman.

That land was no more Arab than Jew.
..and the Arabs and Muslims that are fortunate enough to live there, enjoy freedoms, rights and priviledges they do not enjoy in any other country in the region.

Sure it was. It had to be taken from the Arabs who were already there to be given to the Jews who were moved in.That land was no more Arab than Jew.
Unless they live in Gaza...and the Arabs and Muslims that are fortunate enough to live there, enjoy freedoms, rights and priviledges they do not enjoy in any other country in the region.

.
Jews had been there for thousands of years..most of which, by the way, involved living peacefully with Arabs.

Arab land was purchased years ago before there was a state of Israel by the Jewish National Fund. At the time Israel was established, it owned 6% of the land. After Israel was established it was given another 2 million kilometers. The Arab villages on the land were all destroyed. They also confiscated all undeveloped land without compensation. So, now the state of Isreal own 96% of the land in the whole country. The JFN will only sell land to Jews.

Florida Teen Beaten by Israeli Police is Cousin of Slain Palestinian
A Tampa, Florida, teenager seen pummeled by Israeli police in a video that has sparked outrage among Palestinians remained in stable condition Saturday, an American consulate representative told NBC News. Tariq Abu Khdeir, 15, suffered a broken nose and chin, and injuries to his eyes as a result of Thursday’s altercation with police, his father, Salah Abu Khdeir, told the Council for American-Islamic Relations (CAIR). Tariq was in Jerusalem to attend the funeral of his 16-year-old cousin, Mohammed Abu Khdeir, who was burned to death following violence that stemmed from the killings of three missing Israeli teenagers.
Tariq was one of six detained by police during violent clashes ahead of Mohammed Abu Khdeir’s funeral. He remains at an Israeli police station and is scheduled to appear in court Sunday, said American consulate representative Joshua Wagner. Israeli police said the video, which shows two officers attacking Tariq while he’s on the ground, is “edited and biased” and that it “does not represent the events.” The Florida chapter of CAIR called for the U.S. State Department to demand that Tariq be released from Israeli custody. State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki said Saturday they are "profoundly troubled by reports that [Tariq] was severely beaten while in police custody." The Israeli Justice Ministry also announced Saturday that they will launch an investigation into the incident, The Jerusalem Post reported.

Re: Israeli army says three kidnapped teenagers found dead
This was Bibi's statement calling for revenge against the Palistinians. I don't ever recall a head of state calling for revenge against a whole race of people, calling them animals, for the actions of a few. And without an iota of proof. That is what Hitler did!
Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu released an official response to the murder of abducted Israeli teens Gilad Sha'ar (16), Naftali Frenkel (16), and Eyal Yifrah (19) on Monday, expressing grief and vowing revenge.
"With a heavy heart, we have found tonight three bodies, and all of the information we have indicates that these are the bodies of the abductees - Eyal, Gilad, and Naftali," Netanyahu began.
"They were murdered in cold blood by human animals," he said. "In the name of the entire Jewish people, I want to say to the dear families - mothers and fathers, grandmothers and grandfathers, sisters and brothers - our hearts are bleeding. We are crying with you."
"We will bring the boys home to be buried in Israel," he continued.
"Revenge over the blood of a small child is not the devil's work, and neither is revenge for the blood of a teenager or young man - who was on his way to meet his parents - and whom was never seen again," he added. "Hamas is responsible. Hamas will pay."
"May the boys' memories be for a blessing."

With arrest of six Jews in Arab teen’s killing,
Israel confronts its own extremists
By Ruth Eglash, Sufian Taha and Griff Witte
The Washington Post
JERUSALEM — Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made a condolence call Monday to the father of a Palestinian teenager who was kidnapped and murdered Wednesday in an apparent revenge attack for the killing of three Israeli teenagers last month.
In his phone call to Hussein Abu Khieder, the prime minister expressed his outrage over the “reprehensible” murder of 16-year-old Mohammad Abu Khieder, who had been sitting alone outside his family’s home in the East Jerusalem neighborhood of Shuafat when he was abducted. Six Israeli Jews were arrested Sunday, suspected of his murder for what security officials called “nationalistic” motives.
“We denounce all brutal behavior; the murder of your son is abhorrent and cannot be countenanced by any human being,” Netanyahu said. “We will bring them to trial,” he said of the suspects, “and they will be dealt with to the fullest extent of the law.”
Netanyahu’s call to the Abu Khieder family came as tensions escalated in southern Israel, along the border with the Gaza Strip. In the early hours of Monday, Israel pounded targets in central Gaza in response to more than 25 rockets fired into its territory on Sunday.
. . .
On Sunday, Israel reckoned with rising homegrown extremism as it arrested six Jewish suspects who are believed to have burned Mohammad Abu Khieder to death in revenge for the killing of three Israeli teens.
The arrests shocked those on both sides of the Israeli-Palestinian divide — Palestinians because many had assumed Israel would never act against its own, and Israelis because there had been widespread doubt that Jews could have carried out such a heinous crime.
