The Sixties - CNN

I just caught a couple of hours of CNN's series The Sixties.

The first part was about TV of the sixties and it was pretty good.
It was well edited, paced just right and reminded me of a lot of the shows I had forgotten about.

The next part centered on JFK. It was just what I expected out of CNN.
Kennedy was Superboy. He was duped by the CIA in the Bay of Pigs and promised to never let it happened again.
He went on to back Khrushchev down in the 1962 Cuban Missile Crisis. He did this through his wisdom and strong resolve.
And of course, he would have pulled us out of Viet Nam had he not gone to Dallas.

All myth. The lies about this scum bag live on. Unfortunately, most of us have grown to believe them.
