The reason I originally endorsed Luther Strange (and his numbers went up mightily), is that I said Roy Moore will not be able to win the General Election. I was right! Roy worked hard but the deck was stacked against him!

And, of course, the media is spinning it as a "Trump setback". The only reason it was close is that Trump showed up to endorse Moore.

So Moore would have lost by even more if Trump hadn't endorsed him?
Regardless, it's a set back for Trump. He lost a seat in the Senate. That's not spin, that's fact.
