Nothing..a substantial percentage of them are determined to just bully people.

The reason I have great dislike for the cops is..they spend 90% of their time hassling good people that are just trying to live their lives.

Very little energy, for most cops nationwide..ever has to go to dealing with or confronting violent people. I'm glad that is the case..but that shouldn't mean they should be dipshits to everyone else.

times have changed , cops used be the fathers of my friends or fathers of other neighborhood kids . Now they seem to self segregate into , I really don't know where they are except when they are driving hot cars or wearing swat type uniforms . Seems like there is a cop culture that seperates itself from regular society .

Yes, and that is a very big problem.

and that's why I refer to them as 'kings' or government men at times , they work for the king and their paycheck that taxpayers provide but that's about it . And they are always looking for more through their public service unions .

We are blessed to not live in a metro area. The Maypearl police, the Ellis county deputies and the DPS troopers who work this area seem the be pretty good
folks. Attitude can make a difference.

I think how they behave depends on where they work.

I can't say enough good things about the police in my town.
A woman rear ended me and we called the police. I didn't have my new insurance card with me. The one I had was expired. The officer followed me home so I could show him my up-to-date card and he wouldn't have to write me a ticket.
The dealings I've had with these guys for the last 25 years have all been good. They overlook nit-picking offenses and help when you need it.

I've dealt with plenty of the bad type, but not here.
