New Mexico.
I have friends who plan on retiring there. They vacation there every chance they get. And I agree with them, even though it was been a long time since I was there.
Question of the day.
Re: Question of the day.
Daughter lives in northern Arizona on a mountain top. They have common core (or whatever they're calling it to hide that it is common core now). The kids started school a week ago Monday. Yesterday the younger one was really cold waiting for the school bus. They don't even have a convenience store and most residents are summer "people" from Phoenix. Daughter loves it since she really hates the heat. Grocery shopping is over an hour away, but limited. They usually go to Flagstaff. Medical care for their special needs daughter is 3 hours away in Phoenix. It almost requires different clothes...jackets till they get off the mountain, then light clothing in Phoenix.

All sounds like way too much trouble too me. Raising kids is hard enough, why make it even harder?
