Tony Romo
I wasn't impressed listening to him during the Rams win over the Saints. Usually Rams games get the bottom barrel broadcasters. Don't blame them Rams have stunk for 10+ years.
Because the Rams are leading in the west , last time they finished at least 8-8 their head coach was an 18 year old college freshman, and they played the Saints ,who lead the south, the NFL flexed the game to CBS thus I heard Tony for the first time.
I've read people are comparing him to Madden, they praise his depth of knowledge are impressed with his ability to predict plays and keen sense of the game.
I thought he talks to much plus his delivery and voice didn't connect with me.
He's no Madden.
Anyone know who the two youngest head coaches in NFL history ?
If Sean is as good as John maybe Tony can be too

It's ok if you disagree with me.

I enjoy listening to Romo for the two Dallas games he's called. I really don't have time with all I have going on to sit and watch any other games. Wish I did. I have a house to sell and one to buy!
Re: Tony Romo
I have only seen him do two games. He was really good in the first one, not as good in the second. At his worst, I like him better than Phil Simms, though.
I've nearly stopped watching football, so my sample size is small.

I've only heard him on one game, and it was fine. I hope he's not getting big-headed because of all the positive reviews.

He's a broadcasting rookie, I'll give him a few seasons to git it right. Hope he does not spend too much time discussing sweat lines in the plsyers jerseys, or even his beloved Tuducken. ( that go old quick).
