The "blood moon" certainly earns the title in this photo. Someone sent it in to WFAA.

I didn't look that good here. Even when it was full it looked grey, not red.

My husband said it looked like that when he got up.
When I went out to see it the clouds were in front of it.

It looks to me like the person who took it was high in a bldg since so much of the city lights are shown....which makes the moon appear lower (I think that is how it works).

OTOH, could be photoshopped.

The view from the highest building in the world can't put the moon on the horizon if it's not there.
